Re: Redskins name controversy
Olbermann had a good piece on this tonight.
Apparently Snyder is rallying up former Redskins players and paying them(?) to drum up support for the name.
So Gary Clark(e?) goes on local TV recently and basically says "Native Americans don't care, who of them has said anything...nobody" and Olbermann proceeds to name off 23 different tribal organizations from around North America who have formally opposed the name.

Dan Snyder is fighting this in the most Dan Snyder way possible.Bammer wrote:Olbermann had a good piece on this tonight.

Let us know when that becomes the official name of an organization instead of just a slang term.Peeps wrote:have they also complained about the term used for buying tickets off people on the street for an inflated price?

Re: Redskins name controversy
Admittedly the name is racist and I was never a fan of the team but I do like the logo.

As far as appropriated logos go it's one of the classier ones. Certainly better than Chief Wahoo.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Admittedly the name is racist and I was never a fan of the team but I do like the logo.
