I'm impressed you pulled off videos on the phone!LetMeSleep wrote:This is painful on a phone lads. 6% too.
For what it's worth, when I've been in your shoes I just forward the pms onto other people I see on. This has been a heroic effort on your part.

Shit, I'm 11 songs behind again. And Mia is sick so I'm not listening to much of anything until naptime.

Re: Best Decade Tournament 2000s: brl/farmer john
I have one or two of their albums, and I found that they were hard to keep going for more than a few songs at a time, though I usually enjoyed those few songs (this one was very good--nice pick)dsb1218 wrote:What varis said. How do I only know a handful of MM songs when I really dig the few that I do?Varis wrote:There's so many bands who released great music this decade - it's interesting seeing what everyone picks from those bands. Modest Mouse are a group that I know some stuff of (enough to have a few of theirs on my list) but have never gotten right into. This song was cool.Farmer John wrote:Modest Mouse - 3rd Planet

Pryto, are you familiar with the band Radiohead? They put out some decent stuff in the 2000s.

I've heard enough of their stuff to know that I just ... don't ... get ... it. Pretentious art rock with no discernible melody or groove. Pass.

It took a while to choose the song, but The Polyphonic Spree MUST be included on my list. I can't believe a band like this can make it 14 years! I chose We Crawl for two reasons... 1. The song is insanely beautiful, and 2. The video was put together by Spree forum members as a tribute to the band back when The Fragile Army was released.
We Crawl - The Polyphonic Spree
im not familiar with them beyond the name, but i really liked that. sweet video, too
