You better be up against stip, because otherwise Arctic Monkeys + MMJ + KoL is a no-no.
I can see someone not liking KoL or AM, but that MMJ song is balls deep.
You didn't include my last pick. Not as bad?

He has the best first 2 picks after mine.

I'm not familiar with that one. And MMJ studio never did anything for me, I only enjoyed their live set and their live album.

I'm not gonna lie, Heathen. There are a few teams here I'd vote for you over.

High praise indeed.
I'm sure I'll fuck it up soon enough - I've got my usual Aussie section still to come!
There's actually lots and lots of stuff that I really like in this tourney, noticeably more than in the others. That would be partially a factor of my increased variety of music listening in the internet generation I guess.

you still have the honor of drafting the worst song I've maybe ever heard outside of maybe some SNC nonsense.

Same. I saw them live once and really enjoyed their set but the only thing I've heard that I even remotely enjoy is that live album. Their studio records seem really weak for whatever reason.

Oh, today will definitely be an Iron & Wine day at work. Hoping to squeeze him into my list.
If I could, I'd take all of the Shepherd's Dog album in this tournament. That would be my team.

I don't know them, but this was one of the better things I've heard this tournament so far.
You should give the whole album a spin. It's one of my top five of the decade.

and while we're killing time, everyone should listen to

and then go into the mark lanegan thread and talk about how great it is. This is the best song I've heard all year.
