Nah just 8-8 with Romo blowing lots of games in the 4th quarter. I trust no team with Bill Calllllllahan on it's staff.turned2black wrote:I'm looking forward to the Cowboys being terrible this year.

Yeah, that was brilliant.spike wrote:Chris_H_2 wrote:Green Habit wrote:I dunno, I've gotten pretty used to the whole "find new, inventive ways to lose close games" and "get eliminated on national TV by a division rival on the NFL's last regular season game with an 8-8 record" modus operandi that the Cowboys have been running under in recent years.turned2black wrote:I'm looking forward to the Cowboys being terrible this year.

It just strikes me as corny and stereotypical. But as I learned last year, I guess I'm in the minority on this one.Peeps wrote:how can you not like that?

Man, things just keep getting worse for the Cowboys' defense.

When they suck that bad at drafting it sort of takes chemicals doesn't it? Not to mention romancing the referees.

You know this type of marketing will be a regular thing a few seasons down the road.

the facepalm and comment were in agreement. i saw on pft.com that they're bagging it on the remaining broadcasts and the nfl (currently) has no plan to do this during games.Fuck You Jobu wrote:You enjoy the ads?elliseamos wrote:oh good lord.Fuck You Jobu wrote:Ugh if they start filling in the field with ads, combined with all the ads they show (11 mins of play time vs. 3.5 hrs real time) I just may find other things to do on Sun.Biff Pocoroba wrote:From Business Insider:

Dallas is going to be awful. We'll score points like we always do but I don't even know if you can call what we'll field on the other side of the ball a defense. It's gonna be gruesome.

Btw Mecca, I will once again be rooting for the Bills to make the playoffs. I wish I had gotten to watch more of their defense last year, it was awesome.

it should be good this season too, but missing Kiko Alonso will be a huge hole in the LB corpsOrpheus wrote:Btw Mecca, I will once again be rooting for the Bills to make the playoffs. I wish I had gotten to watch more of their defense last year, it was awesome.

It's really cute to see you east coast guys talking about your team having a good defense.Mecca wrote:it should be good this season too, but missing Kiko Alonso will be a huge hole in the LB corpsOrpheus wrote:Btw Mecca, I will once again be rooting for the Bills to make the playoffs. I'm from Texas bro, I just like football. And the Bills had a great (and very fun to watch) D last year. That's pretty much indisputable.Bammer wrote:It's really cute to see you east coast guys talking about your team having a good defense.Mecca wrote:it should be good this season too, but missing Kiko Alonso will be a huge hole in the LB corpsOrpheus wrote:Btw Mecca, I will once again be rooting for the Bills to make the playoffs. And I love Seattle but don't act like they weren't hot garbage on offense with a decent defense just a few years ago. The league is designed to be up and down, that's why it's great. Things are going to be a little more difficult for the Hawks when they can't pay Wilson $500,000 a year.
