The Mark Lanegan song was ok. His vocals hold it back a bit for me. The metronome beat gets old.
I don't think I'm going to make it through Dan Bern's 1000-word essay he calls a song. Next!
This Feist song is a nice change. Pretty voice. Simple, but nice effective instrumentation sprinkled throughout.
15 seconds in and I can already tell I'm going to like this song. I know Bonnie Price Billy is held in high regard I just haven't had a chance to listen. Good stuff.
I liked the movie and the soundtrack when they came out, and I still do. This was on my long list, so there you go.
