There's a real possibility that I like it more than I can remember. Severed Hand, Unemployable & Army Reserve used to be songs I really hated, but I kinda like them now. Marked/Parachutes is still fantastic and could listen to those 30 times in a row.
It's always nice to come back to something after a little distance and discover that you've warmed to stuff you didn't like at first. It feels like a little gift

I still enjoy Marker, Parachutes, and Army sometimes if they come on random play, and I'm in the right mood for some emotional exaggeration rawk.

how many songs are in your typical random play shuffle. What are the statistical odds of you hearing any of these songs in, say, the next year?

I'm with you. This is holding up way better than backspacer for me. And the live versions of a lot of these songs are really great.

It helped indeed seeing a few of these songs live this summer.

Come Back, Severed Hand, Marker, Reprise... all got me thinking 'wait, I like these songs! haven't heard these in years'

I don't know how often they might come up. I can say for certain that I have not had a single Pearl Jam song come across since I finished my last day of work at my previous job a little over a month ago, and it hasn't felt like an unusually long time to me.

No, wait. Bridge School Corduroy started up yesterday. I skipped it.

I have a playlist of about 500-600 favorites that I use, excluding my go-to bands. It means I'm a lot less likely to revisit something, but since I have so much trouble finding time to listen to music (I can't easily listen and work) it probably doesn't matter much.

S/T was actually the first PJ album I ever really listened to. I've always been really fond of Life Wasted, I'm surprised it gets so much flack. Life Wasted was actually the first Pearl Jam song I remember being really into.

They're the 3 that light my fire too. There are a couple of others that I wouldn't turn off but those 3 I would actually put on.

I don't know either. Life Wasted is no more of a retread or generic than God's Dice, yet GD pops boners all over this board.

I don't like the way Ed sings on Life Wasted, or most of Avocado.

I do on some of the songs, but it is a bit too much of an over correction for riot act.

One of which is still hasn't recovered from

I don't mind Life Wasted, but I'm not crazy about it either. It just exists. I wish they'd cut away from these uptempo "fun" rockers as opening songs. There has been too long of a string of them.

They seem terribly determined to invest at least the first three songs of any project in assuring you that, yes, in fact...they do still rawk.

I do tend to worry about how much each PJ album will contribute to my booty shaking.

While LW and GD are both great songs, I don't think they sound much alike. And the way Ed sings on LW is probably my favorite aspect of the song.
