Not for everyone I guess. Tweedy is one of my favorite songwriters.

Yes. This solo rules. Saw it live in 2012. Just perfection.

I just read through the last few pages, and...

Stip has never heard Clint Eastwood until today!?! How is that even remotely possible?

Frightened Rabbit - My Backwards Walk

Spoiler: show
I liked that one a lot. Way more than wilco. It felt very honest

spenno's last few songs were pretty quick. I guess he's earned a 16 minute slog.

I'm eyeing a 20min+ track for the 2010 tourney.

We should set up some kind of tournament where Stip has the only vote, but we all take songs we think he will hate.

Frightened Rabbit is awesome live. Saw them last year.

Also, great pick numbers with All These Things That I've Done.

This is one of my favorite commercials ever. That ending!

I'd easily win. I'd just pick all Wilco songs.

Earth - 'A Plague of Angels'
this wasn't bad, but it also didn't need to be 16 minutes long. I've also heard a few two many similar songs at this point, which is probably not fair to this song, but I do have some ear fatigue.

Farmer John wrote:Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Hold On to Yourself

there were two songs I was VERY close to taking from this album. If we made it to 11 or 12 songs they would have been there. I've tried a few nick cave records (and speeno was nice enough to get me a bunch of them), and this was the only one that really struck a chord.

If you wanna get through the long songs quickly, you could open them on youtube, click on the little gear icon on the lower right corner of the video, and then click to watch it on 2x speed. Instant classic.

You should do the same with Ed Vedder interviews, but slowing them down. It sounds like he's sloppy drunk. It's great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhHD76Io46U

No-one's picked a Radiohead song for a while now - what gives?

Belle and Sebastian - I'm a Cuckoo

I haven't decided if this is too sunny or not. It's right at the edge and could go either way. I'd feel a lot better without the I'm a cuckoo lyric.
