im wanting to see that also, i dont know if i expect it to be good, but i still want to see it
what is it with american films about their president kicking ass?? i just dont get it. Its fucking hilarious....
Also, I don't think the President in this film does anything but be a hostage. It's a secret service agent or something that does all the whooping.

And is Morgan Freeman the Vice President? Is he the first actor to play the President and the Vice President?

A murder in 1944 draws together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.

Daniel Radcliffe plays Ginsberg. Him playing Harry Potter really tainted my view of him as an actor, but maybe this will change my mind.

Getting good reviews.
So you're saying his roles in David Copperfield and The Tailor of Panama were that moving to you?

For what its worth.

nope, the president does kick ass, and they even show him boxing..and its fucking harvey dent...

but i think it reflects something that US citizens needs, a portait , an image of something.

Obama released a few months ago a pic of him shooting something, and there he was , the chief of a nation with the big gun and he was doing the whole dirty harry look too.

Back to movies, i really want to see the new Evil Dead movie.

what is just the right amount of somberness for a film? I swear to God i have no problem with art criticism except that critics are so fucking bad at doing it.

I want to be excited about iron man 3 but they should have gone with the darker challenging theme in the second film.

For me, the right amount of somberness would be twice that of Affliction, Dancer in the Dark and Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father combined.

Some critics said Tree of Life was cold and an emotional void. I don't know what they're talking about, I nearly cried like a baby the first time I saw it. Full of great humility.

To the Wonder is not gaining the same praise as its predeceessor, but when it comes to Malick it really doesn't seem to matter anymore. The positive reviews that are out there are strong in its praise. He will make divisive films. That's that.

That being said, I'm not nearly as excited to see TTW. And hint-hint, I don't know if anyone knows, but along with limited theater release all throughout April, To the Wonder is being shown on Video On Demand as well.

I generally enjoy reading movie reviews, but I throw them out when it comes to both Malick and Lars von Trier.
