There's a right up on it. He was positioned way to shallow in the outfield for this part of the game, and still he could have made the catch if he didn't slow down to anticipate the wall.

True. I was only half serious.Kaius wrote:Time heals all Big Red
Easy to say when you've won the World Series twice the last 8 years haha. But I see what you are saying. Still stings though.

Re: MLB
Seriously. Kinda awesome for you guys. I was pulling for you hardcore last year and in 2004. In 2007 I didn't really care either way. With Denver 7 hours away I tried to get Game 3 of the WS tickets with a buddy and couldn't due to a ticketmaster malfunction. So then I lost interest in that series.cutuphalfdead wrote:Thrice in the last 10.Kaius wrote:Fucking Red Sox.BigRedLedbetter wrote: Easy to say when you've won the World Series twice the last 8 years haha.

I'm pulling for the Royals in the AL for a very selfish reason. If they make it I'm gonna try and make game 2 of the series. Which is one of the top things on my bucket list (a WS game)

I'm counting both times they lost to the Sox.
That's within 10 seasons.
Hence, fuck the Red Sox.

Re: MLB
I am pulling for the Cards on the chance they will have a home playoff game on 10/2 and I will see about scalping a ticket since I have never been to Busch stadium.
By the way anyone have a guess on what the "get in the door" price for that would be? My team hasn't been to the playoffs for a really long time.

And they promptly swept the A's. Once again that's why they play the games.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Yeah, the Braves have pretty much stunk out loud since the Break. They'll be under .500 after this coming series with the A's.

We should all stop right here and go take a look at Nelson Cruz's numbers over the last couple months.

.664 OPS since June 1. His overall numbers are still solid because of gist ridiculous start, but he's been really bad for almost three months now.cutuphalfdead wrote:Lol @ .173 over the last 30 days.
