Pistachios are good for a while, but then they get kinda gross. Do chick peas (and by extension hummus) fit into this thread? They're pretty great. I like Walnuts a lot too, but I hardly ever eat them.

Maybe chick peas, but not hummus. Then we would have to include peanut butter and all that crap too. Keep it streamlined...

There is a Lebanese market near my work that makes an outstanding plain hummus. It is a little heavy on garlic, but that is my favorite hummus ever. And I've eaten hummus in the middle east, which was very bland.

What were you doing in the Middle East? Did you wear a robe while you were there? Robes look really comfortable, I wish it was socially acceptable to wear them here.

While I wasn't a SEAL, I was over there for the military. Yes, I would wear the robes on occasion but always wore underwear. Not sure what the locals did. They were comfortable though. They were sometimes called a dishdasha. The long white shirts were awesome too.

My daughter is deathly allergic to peanuts. I feel like I need to keep an epipen in close proximity when reading this thread.

Me too. Plain pistachios.

Cashews are great. Brazil nuts as well. I like nuts of all types, really.
