Honestly, the upper section at the United Center is not bad at all. I wouldn't hesitate to buy seats up there, but that's just me.TwoAlarmFire wrote:4/5 wrote:Welp. $196 per ticket for the nosebleeds on Christmas. And that's not resale. I feel your pain right now. I will be in Chicago later this year and the Bulls are playing twice during my stay. They have been my favorite team since I was a little girl and I have yet to see them in person. If I could get to a game, I would be able to cross off #1 and #2 from my bucket list during the trip.On one hand, I do not want to pay an insane amount for tickets, but on the other hand I do not want to be up in the nosebleeds for my first NBA game. I would like to be able to see the players somewhat.

Yeah I sat 2nd row from the top for playoffs two years ago. Had good sight lines and enjoyed the game. Still too expensive though...

Re: NBA Thread
Thanks for the posts, guys. =) With concerts and sporting events, my mentality is as long as I am there, I do not care where I sit. I just thought it would be nice to sit a little bit closer, I was looking at the 200 sections, for my first NBA game. I have seen pictures and live video of the UC and the view from just about anywhere really does not look bad at all. I have found a few websites where people are selling their upper level (300's) tickets for under $100. I will just pick one of those sections so I can at least be there, especially since the game I want to see is against the Nets. I really enjoyed their games against the Bulls last season.
4/5, I hope you will be able to get seats to that Christmas game.

Will the lack of rim protection hurt the Cavs at all? I feel like they are going to be an offensive juggernaut.

Know your role Glenn Taylor and just shut up.
Kevin Love gave you a double double every night on a team with nothing but him on it. Why would he play defense there was no point?

Agreed. It doesn't help that Pek can't protect the rim either.Electromatic wrote:Know your role Glenn Taylor and just shut up.

Probably around the Eastern Conference Finals if they don't make a trade or two.Joesanity wrote:I'm sure at some point it will.Monkey_Driven wrote:Will the lack of rim protection hurt the Cavs at all? I feel like they are going to be an offensive juggernaut.

They'll win the East if they're healthy. They're a less-good version of the 2010 Heat team that lost the Finals.
If he stayed in Miami he'd get his 3rd ring this year unless the Spurs survived the West again. In which case he'd be 2-4 in the Finals.

I think you may be underrating the Bulls a bit. I think the combination of Gasol, Mirotic, McDermott, and Rose are going to jump start their offense. We know their defense is going to be elite.4/5 wrote:They'll win the East if they're healthy. They're a less-good version of the 2010 Heat team that lost the Finals.

True. I also don't have much confidence in D Rose these days, so there's that. I view him as a huge wildcard.

Have you watched any of the USA exhibition games? He has shown flashes of his old self. I think the World Cup will be a great experience for him.4/5 wrote:True. I also don't have much confidence in D Rose these days, so there's that. I view him as a huge wildcard.

The thing is, Lebron plays really good defense right? Defense is mostly effort. It's not like Love can't play defense he just wasn't.
Of those 3 the least Im sold on playing defense is Irving.

Irving can play defense, I just don't think he has any interest in doing so.Electromatic wrote:The thing is, Lebron plays really good defense right? Defense is mostly effort. It's not like Love can't play defense he just wasn't.
