They couldn't have been that old. Gamestop stopped taking anything prior to the wii for Nintendo, or prior to PlayStation2 last year.
yea, 'old' was not the correct word to use. i'm thinking wii, xbox 360, and PS3 games etc.

he just stopped by and dropped off the gift card for me to go pick up an Xbox One! :bammer:
Nice. Yeah my stepson will go to yard sales and buy Wii games for a dollar or less (crappy titles too) and take them to Gamestop. Usually, when a big game comes out (like MarioKart 8) they offer an extra 40% trade in value towards the new game if you are a rewards member. I think for MarioKart he only paid a few bucks, and that was the cost of the games he bought at yard sales.
that's awesome. never have cared much for Gamestop, but the 40% trade in value can't be beat.
Yeah I don't like Gamestop much either, but it works for him. He's only 15 so he doesn't drive or have a credit card, so it is convenient for both of us. I don't have to drive him far and he doesn't have to hit me up for my credit card to buy off the internet.

your stepson makes shrewd financial decisions, while mcparadigm's stepson does a wicked worm dance. you won the step-son lottery, ruddo.

My stepson is way smarter than me. So he probably lost the stepdad lottery.

i haven't owned a video game system since the ps2/xbox era, although my old roommate was fond of Halo, so i'd occasionally slog through the occasional match. i think it was Halo 4, sometime in early 2013.

I'm going to start a thread wherein you describe your old roommate.

i've narrowed it down to 'poesy,' 'FLO-RIDIN,' and 'faggot,' but i can't narrow it any further. actually, add 'narrow' to that list, too.

he is a dear friend, and while i might harass many RMers, i shall not cast aspersions on a civilian.

I haven't, but it's well reviewed and has caught my eye.

Just bought a Wii U for parties/gatherings.

It came with Super Mario U and I bought Mario Kart and Nintendoland. What other couch co-op games should I get?

I've been playing the new Madden through EA Access free trial and it's surprisingly really good. They actually made improvements.

Their improvements usually make the game worse.
