tried out a nearby persian place for our anniversary dinner last night; it exceeded expectations. i had skewered ground lamb and beef over rice; my wife had lamb fesenjan, which is a walnut and pomegranate sauce over a shank. everything was cooked perfectly.

it was really good. not sure if they serve it at lunch.you should check out the patterson house for cocktails, monell's in germantown for breakfast (but go there while very hungry), or the catbird seat for dinner if you are able to pull some strings. also, barista parlor in east nashville for coffee. tom hanks got coffee there once, and i think of you as a kind of tom hanks figure in terms of likability.
