Nice haha. He was also a Ray for a day. They selected him in the expansion draft and shipped him to Philly for Kevin Stocker lol.numbers wrote:Ah, former Astros great.

I saw him hit a HR for the Astros one time, that's the only reason I remember that he played for them.

I'm basically picking the late 90s Indians and giving them a pitching staff.

So it does look like you can play guys anywhere once they're on your team and you're setting your line up. Like chud pointed out though, you can't just pick, say, twelve outfielders. You need to pick 1 of each infield position and three outfielders specifically, because when you're assigned players to a Dream Team, they're only "addable" via their main position for that year.

Numbers has a pretty deadly 1-2-3 in his rotation so far.

Re: Post-Strike Baseball Tournament: Round Seven - 4/5
I just ran a simulation including the 2013 Orioles with J.J. Hardy playing catcher, and he got charged with like 4 passed balls. So playing guys way out of position will end up making a difference, so be careful.

I have explained this to a bunch of my baseball nerd friends and like 3 wanted in. We are talking about doing our own and/or an NBA one.Lament wrote:I just ran a simulation including the 2013 Orioles with J.J. Hardy playing catcher, and he got charged with like 4 passed balls. So just to be clear, I can assign Miggy's offensive 2012 to 1b?
