I know it's more realistic, but I'd kinda prefer to reset them. You can't have Randy Johnson start 1, 4, and 7. But you can, on one occasion, take a starter and start him on two games rest. So that may be worth keeping in mind when you set your rotation.
Yes, you can. I'm not sure if the simulator is going to avoid using them though.
