Nice job, Mike.

I've been on a Sun Kil Moon binge since hearing Carry Me Ohio. That album is fantastic.

I go chronologically with new music. Although, I may skip Tiny Cities since I'm not really interested in an album of Modest Mouse covers.

I'll let you all know.

Regarding moving chronologically, I'm not sure that's always the best approach - it isn't for me, anyway. There's plenty of bands I love whose early recordings either aren't representative of the aspects I most like about their work or simply aren't as good as their later records.

It's best to just let things happen organically. Start with what hooked you in and just branch out from there.

I'd start with Ghosts of the great highway too.

I'd never really loved any J Molina stuff is heard before but Hold On Magnolia is brilliant. Best revelation of the tourney.

Yeah that song was top notch. The one Heathen picked might be even better.

Agreed. The first song I landed on through a tentative YouTube search was 'Richard Ramirez Died Today of Natural Causes' and I felt strongly I needed more of whatever that was in my life, hence why I opted to buy Benji last night.

Listening now.

if you like 'Richard Ramirez Died Today of Natural Causes' then benji might just be your thing. there are some songs i really like on benji but i much prefer the ghosts -> admiral fell promises run of albums.
