kp was on a 2 hour limit and is now skipped (sorry if you already said to skip you kp, I haven't read back through the thread).

DeLima's now up (and PM'd).

Dsb1218 is on the skip list (but I've pm'd him regardless) which means that I can go.

Following on from Fuck It. You Win. I'm gonna go with a bit of a middle-of-the-road tune with, to my mind at least, simple but fantastic lyrics. I do just want my girl to make my days move easy.

My team is at a crossroads. I need to think about which way to go.

Alrighty then, now for song #8. And fuck me if this wasn't my most difficult pick of the whole lot of them. Been listening through a heap of stuff trying to balance the team out a bit, but in the end I couldn't go past this one - it's got a great build and big pay off:

Always interesting. My 9 and 10 are now locked in though, barring some bizarre fuck up. I'm pretty sure they will get back to me, but you never know...

It's hard enough getting your picks, never mind getting some playlist flow. But I think I've got it (barring some bastard picking my last 3 tracks)

Yeah, this tourney I've actually managed a far better playlist flow, which I'm happy about. The trick is making it interestingly diverse enough whilst still flowing reasonably well. I'm noticing a lot of similarity within teams as far as song choices goes, people sticking to their preferred stylings. Makes for an easier playlist flow, but imo a lesser team.

I used the word "flow" a hell of a lot in this post. Speaking of which, I really regret not picking Even Flow for the 90's tourney. I would have just posted the youtube vid (the one with poor Josh copping it, natch) and just had "because fuck you, that's why" beneath it. Such a great song.

I originally made my team as a playlist. But now I'm thinking of making some changes and that might fuck everything up. I shoud just stick to my original list BUT

It's always a tough call on this shit. You and me can generally alleviate a lot of the concern though through the knowledge that whatever changes we make are highly unlikely to make jack shit difference to our tournament longevity.

Haha yeah, I alternate between phases where I rack my brain trying to find the right song and "who am I kidding no one is going to give a shit either way" phases.

And since I'm currently going through the latter right now, this is my round 7 pick:
