Im trying to quit smoking, so I am enjoying being a bit more combative than normal.
I've heard that's a thing.
I have never so much as touched a tobacco product in my life, so I wouldn't know. My drummer liked swisher sweets (sp?), though, and his car always smelled like burnt candy.

Smart man.
I've never been one to enjoy the cheap cigarellos. I don't get the fascination.
My wife's grandmother is about to die. I'm thinking of telling her it's no big deal. She had a stroke a few years ago and her recent output has been pretty disappointing.

It would have been a much bigger loss if she had died right after that amazing 65th birthday party. Everyone had a great time with her then.
McParadigm wrote:If you've barely even paid any attention to her in the last twenty years, how big a loss can this be?
IIRC, this was in direct response to DcT's statement that he hadn't paid attention to Joan Rivers' work in recent years.
it was, but the same could be said for Robin Williams.
I don't think I'd seen anything Robin had done (again, outside of Louie) for about 10 years. His loss hit me harder because I remember more of his work. And I was impacted far more by Robin than Joan. Also, I won't lie, the circumstances of his death hit me way harder as well.
