I almost flew from NYC for that. Tix sold out in day. If you hear of a pair available, let me know please.

You don't usually see divorce actions started by people who will be dead before the lawyers get paid.

I will! My buddy and his wife got two extras so I claimed one when asked. Super excited.

It's incredibly difficult (speaking as a happily divorced dude) to make a marriage work if you are an everyday Joe or Jane. I can only imagine how tough it is for a rock star, actor or actress when you are not at home much. Intimacy and connection has to be an issue. But yes kind of odd at their ages. Sometimes the grass is much greener on the other side though. :|

This is some sort of estate tax avoidance thing, which means transfer of property isnt taxable in a divorce, or somethin..

Good interview with Poncho:

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/featu ... r-20140905
Neil Young Guitarist Poncho Sampedro Wants One Last Crazy Horse Tour

"I want to do a tour where we know it's the last one and we can really say goodbye," the Crazy Horse member tells Rolling Stone in an extensive interview about the band's recent struggles and triumphs

...

On the plane back to America, Poncho did approach Young with his take on what the future should hold. "I said to him, we should get together in the spring, record another Crazy Horse album and do a farewell tour next year,'" says Poncho. "Elliot was saying, 'Great idea!' But Neil's a poker player. He didn't really say anything. He's always thinking about what he's doing today and tomorrow, and right now he has acoustic shows, Pono and he's working on a fiction novel."

Neil Young Reportedly Working With Orchestra on New Project Called ‘Storytone’

There’s been no official word, but word from those involved are saying that Neil Young has a new album in the works called ‘Storytone,’ which will be available Nov. 4.

ABC News Radio is reporting that the title and release date comes from German composer Chris Walden, who noted on his website that he had written arrangements for Young. In addition, music contractor Gina Zimmitti has posted some pictures this month to her professional Facebook page that show Young in the studio.

One of the photos, taken Aug. 23, gives a bit more detail with the caption, “2nd day of recording with Neil Young and producer Niko Bolas – this time for some awesomely loud big band arrangements by Chris Walden composer-arranger!” Bolas worked with Young in the late ’80s on ‘Landing on Water,’ ‘This Note’s For You’ and ‘Freedom,’ and also produced Warren Zevon‘s 1987 comeback, ‘Sentimental Hygiene.’

Back in March, Young hinted that he may be doing something like this. “I’d like to make a record with a full-blown orchestra, live — a mono recording with one mic,” Young said. “I want to do something like that where we really record what happened, with one point of view and the musicians moved closer and farther away, the way it was done in the past. To me that’s a challenge and it’s a sound that’s unbelievable, and you can’t get it any other way. So I’m into doing that.”

Sad I missed Neil last month. Hopefully he tours in 2015 so I can see him. Divorce is expensive.

I definitely am. I plugged the gaps in my NY collection over the summer. Pretty much all his albums have something to offer.

It's so damn expensive. I'm going to hold off on buying it and hope the price comes down (like it did for Psychedelic Pill) and doesn't stay flat (like the Archive releases), and that it's not super-limited like Le Noise.
