I watched the young and prodigious ts spivet, think that was the name.
I really liked it. Art direction especially. But I'm not sure who it's aimed at.
Was it a kids film or not? Still. Enjoyable stuff.

watched donnie darko on netfix for the first time last night. liked it.

what initially presented itself as trying to be weird and creepy became interesting and a 'full circle' movie experience.
