It seems like relievers are getting crushed in this tournament.

I mean why was he allowed to continue pitching? He walked 5 of the first nine batters! why would you allow him another hitter?

Damn it.

Yeah, but keep in mind, these lineups are stacked to absurd levels. Other than the pitcher's slot, you're facing 8 guys who for the most part are all-stars.

My team is knocking on death's door. I'm going for broke in game five. I've got nothing to lose, especially since I'll be facing Roy Halladay again (I assume).

I'm starting Buehrle. Also, I'm putting Paul Konerko & Jermaine Dye into the starting lineup. I need some 2005 White Sox magic.

1. Trout
2. Hamilton
3. Posey
4. Konerko
5. Dye
6. Beltre
7. Tejada
8. Kent
9. Buehrle

Game five pitching match ups...

Halladay vs. Buehrle
Greinke vs. Martinez
Schilling vs. Smoltz
Clemens vs. Johnson

Are these right?

What's infuriating is for all these games I've lost, I've simulated like a dozen runs through the same matchups and I win like 8 out of 12 times.

Jim Thome has kinda owned my pitching staff in this series. I feel like he's driven in 104 runs already.

I want to have faith, but I feel like my team is toast.
