New Star Wars Episode VII Video Reveals Millennium Falcon And Batman Easter Egg
We're really glad that Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder started a little back-and-fourth between Star Wars Episode VII director J.J. Abrams. The competition between these two to one-up each other has revealed some of the best photos and now video released yet for the two movies.
In the latest video released by J.J. Abrams' production company Bad Robot, we get the first official video of the Millennium Falcon, which contains a very special Batman Easter egg. Yes, a replica of the Batmobile (Tumbler) from The Dark Knight trilogy is part of the Millennium Falcon. As an added bonus, the background music changes to the familiar score from The Dark Knight trilogy during the big reveal.

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/68904Oscar Isaac wrote:Carrie is hilarious and doing such cool work. Harrison is back. He went on hiatus for a little while, but he’s 150 percent back. It’s pretty amazing to see him bounce back. He looks incredible. Everyone’s having a really good time. J.J. sets that tone. There’s a lot of enthusiasm and it’s being done with a lot of heart. There’s nothing cynical about the way we’re doing this. Even in the way he’s shooting it—he’s shooting on film and actually building the sets, so you’ve got hundreds of Stormtroopers or whatever, and hundreds of extras and all the ships. You actually see it. It’s all real. Everyone can interact with the world.
[EDIT]
…what they’re trying to do and what’s really great is J.J.’s been loosening it up a little bit and trying to make it alive and energized. It’s not formal. They’re messy, energized people. We’ve all intentionally tried to do that. Just make it a little more fiery and messy.
What do you think, McDigg'em? Do the words "fiery" and "messy" inspire a new hope for you?

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
I mean, if a movie called Captain America: Winter Soldier can be good...there has to be hope, right?
But then, "trying to make it alive and energized" is what JJ did with Star Trek...another project notable for the use of real sets...and that just became a manic sprint through shouted dialog that almost seemed afraid to slow down for more than six seconds at a time. It was like it worried that if the pacing slipped enough, you might be able to really look at or think about it. "Making it alive and energized" had a very pronounced effect: it wasn't a movie. It was a theme park ride, with the kind of story that belongs exactly there.
On the other hand, Harrison Ford's lifeless corpse was a big part of what guaranteed this would be crap, so if they've found a way to reanimate him then I don't know what to think. Did the people involved in Indiana Jones rave about his work on that project before that came out? Because christ.
Also, is it still about

So, basically: yeah, it could be good. But I doubt it.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
Just remember that Orci and Kurtzmann aren't involved with this project. I put like 60% of the blame for the shittiness of the Abrams Star Trek movies on them.
