Maybe. If I can get in & out for $500 then I'll do it. Flights and concert tix will chew up most of that.

This depends on a buddy traveling down with me from Seattle.

I am really on a "see PJ as many times as reasonably possible before they retire" kick.

Even I wouldn't have let mid-20's Bammer stay with him. But mid-30's Bammer is solid.

Let me rephrase that:

See PJ as many times as possible before the majority of the crowd is past retirement age.

Better? :)

It's definitely worth it. A unique experience at a nice venue, generally sunny during the day followed by a cool fall evening, lots of good music. I'd probably go every year if I lived in the area. It does feel weird that PJ plays such a short set, but it's usually a good one and then you get to see Neil Young play when they're done.

but they play both nights and typically play different sets each night, so if you look at it that way, you're getting more songs, just not the 30-35 pearl jam songs like a normal show. but that's not what BSB is about, it's a different experience to see pearl jam straight acoustic.

Im wonder if SG is going to take the acoustic route.
dont all bands play acoustic at these shows? i thought that was kinda the point, besides raising $. i've never heard soundgarden acoustic...have they ever done anything like this? as far as drummers, im sure matt cameron could pull it off for both bands, but how about jack irons fills in for pearl jam and cameron plays w/ SG?

cool that peggy is still gonna be there.

Many of the best performances I've ever seen were at Bridge School.

Always an amazing weekend.

Future Days will undoubtedly be played, probably both nights. That's reason enough not to go.

I quite like it
