A Walk Among the Tombstones was an utterly worthless movie.

"This is 40"

I think this was a little close to reality for me to really enjoy.

I thought the alien scenes at the end were excellent.

Many parts of it were, but it felt uncomfortably real in some scenes. Esp. the argument scenes and the weird rationalizations about family and children.

I agree, and I think that's ultimately what made it one of those movies that kind of stuck with me and my wife for awhile.

We saw it at the theater I'm pretty sure, so we were in our mid-20's at the time, but in a lot of ways we felt much older living the family life w/ kids. I mean, yeah, some of those arguments were brutal. I remember feeling the back of my neck getting hot for some of them. I guess it just made the movie that much more genuine and it made the funny parts even funnier. I mean, wouldn't you think those scenes must resonate with a lot of people for a pop-culture movie to feature those elements?

"Dallas Buyers Club"

Good, but did Jared Leto's role even count as a supporting actor? Seems like he had 10 minutes of screen time.

I guess it succeeds, and he inhabits the part completely...I dont know what kind of ending I wanted, or resolution to his dilemmas, but I left it feeling unsatisifed and uncomfortable. So it did it's job i guess
