Miami drafted Tannehill last year and Tannehills's coach was Mike Sherman, the Dolphins OC. Don't know of a head coach in college becoming a HC in the pros and drafting their college QB. i do hope for Buffalo, if they are gonna take Nassib that they can wait till the 2nd round at least.

I'd start following the CFL if that happened in the first.

ive seen a decent number of mocks that have him to the bills in the first, but i think they are trying to read too much into a coach wanting his qb

Te'o in the first still makes a lot of sense

what else does buffalo really need? im still really curious how all this Te'o stuff is gonna effect his draft stock, before all this and his not great championship performance i knew he wouldnt make it outta the top 10, but now its going to be interesting to see. i guess he could light up the combine and be back to a top 10 lock

Ha, he lives in a shitty Riverside apartment. Not surprising but still kinda funny. I like Vaccaro a lot, I think he'll be what Harrison Smith was for the Vikings last year, if not better.

There is only a month left, but any thought to doing a mock draft again this year?

sure. i'll pick for two teams that don't usually have anyone (assuming somebody else would be able to cover the Pats).

I seriously doubt we're going to find enough people to assign teams with, and I'm not really that excited to pester people anyway when it's their pick. I'd participate in an open draft where people just pick for the next team that's on the clock, though.

I wish the real draft were like that when it was time for the Jets to pick.

For all the Warren Sapps that the crowd would have taken, I'm sure they would have taken an equal amount of Blair Thomases.

I need some new perspectives. What does everyone think about Geno Smith?

Geno reminds me of Vince Young....the mechanics just aren't there. Someone will give him a chance but I don't see him playing out long term as an NFL starter.
