Alright, it looks like I'm gonna be able to run game one in a few minutes. Just waiting for all of the standard World Series fanfare to finish. The international protesters outside of Tiger Stadium are causing a bit of a scene.

Word on the street is that SkitchP is planning a whole Jeter-esque pregame ceremony at Tiger Stadium before game two in honor of Santana's tournament performance so far just to get in your head.

Even watching the Jays feed I cannot tell you how happy I was that the series with the Yankees was over. I swear the most common word the Jays announcers said over the course of the weekend was "Jeter". It was pretty vomit inducing.

I love that J.D. Drew came up with a huge hit off the bench against numbers.

Also, Ugueth Urbina seems to have given up huge runs every time he's come in.
