I just made a big student loan payment, paid my quarterly health insurance bill, paid off all outstanding parking tickets, and put $800 aside for next year's auction without even touching my checking account.

Microfiber. I think it's the foam eggcrate pad underneath that makes them not lay flat and appear to be silk or satin in photographs.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Are those silk sheets?

Was your team middle of the road or did you spend more than most?

I was the most expensive team but a good mix of budgets made the playoffs and every match was close.numbers wrote:Was your team middle of the road or did you spend more than most?

I hope you're not discouraged by the score, Doc, because this thing is within reach.

Ruddo, Numbers, and Doc:
One of our league members picked up Rusney Castillo yesterday. The fantasy season had already ended, as did the regular MLB season more than 24 hours prior. I don't think any team should be able to pick up free agents to use as potential keepers once the season is over. But before I make that a hard rule I want to make sure people see it the same way I do. I've already talked to some other league members who agree with me. Does this make sense to you?
Also, I'm going to propose a cutoff date for keepers. The auction league I'm in has a rule that you can't keep anyone who isn't on your roster at the trade deadline. I'm not sure I want that to be the rule, but I'm going to leave that open to a vote. Pretty soon I'm going to put a poll up in the facebook group asking when the cutoff for keepers should be. The options will probably be the trade deadline, the start of the playoffs, or the end of the season. When that happens please vote. The great thing about facebook group polls is you can have a discussion in the thread right under them, so you can talk it out before voting.

You definitely shouldn't be able to pick up after our league season ends. This happened in a keeper league for football I'm in and was rejected unanimously as well. I actually feel strongly about this, he shouldn't get to keep him.

Yea I'm with you on this one. When the season ends I stop looking at the league, we shouldn't have to monitor it all off season just to battle for potential keepers. I'm not against keeping guys as long as you had them when the season ends, but when it ends, it ends.

Just keep no one and take the early draft picks. Also, it might be worth posting stuff like this in the facebook group.
