The Lion King is the worst actor in Hollywood.

Christopher Nolan's Lion King would be dark and brooding, with a shocking reveal regarding Simba's actions offscreen just prior to the final battle and a vaguely unclear (but ultimately hopeful) ending.

Doesn't matter. At the last moment the real bad guy would be revealed to be hyena #46 (you won't care). Oh, and halfway through Simba remembers lions can fly because that's the only way Nolan can write his way out of the gaping plothole he's put him in.

It would generate much debate about the Lion King as a serious, adult character of almost Shakespearean depth...silenced a week later when a brightly colored, sarcastic and trope-riddled Little Mermaid remake is released that vastly outsells it.

I don't understand that at all.

But either way, there's a gigantic gap between "unlikeable" and "worst actor in Hollywood."
I'm really not exaggerating when I say there is seriously no other actor I want to watch in a movie less than her. I find her insufferably phony.

Are we still talking about Nolan or M. Night Shyamalan?

She's going to be in Xavier Dolan's next movie which makes me want to :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah:
still haven't seen anything by him. was planning on starting with tom at the farm. thoughts?
Haven't been able to see it yet, but I'm dying to. However, I Killed My Mother and Laurence Anyways are both fucking terrific. I have a massive hard-on for Dolan; I think he's one of the best filmmakers currently working.
Fuck yeah, I don't think you've ever said anything I agree with more than this post.

Exclusive: New Stills From Christopher Nolan's Interstellar
Plus Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway on the space epic

It's the year's biggest mystery, but Christopher Nolan's Interstellar will soon be launched upon an unsuspecting world. With just over a month to go, Empire has been through a wormhole and back to retrieve some exclusive images from the new space epic.

As you can see, it's not all space suits and gadgets: we have a beardy Casey Affleck and (non-beardy) Jessica Chastain looking less than thrilled about the dust bowl future they live in; Nolan himself in trademark suit, directing with aplomb; and a tense shot of Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), Brand (Anne Hathaway) and Romilly (David Gyasi) making a disturbing discovery...

In case anyone still harbours any doubt, the new issue of Empire unveils just how grand the film’s ambitions are. As McConaughey reveals, "This is the grandest adventure I think any of us will ever see on film... This is the biggest film I've ever been a part of. This is one of the biggest films anyone's ever been a part of."

Hathaway concurs. "I am so excited for the world to receive this film, because there's going to be a new conversation I believe will happen because of it." She’s also quick to put to rest any fears of Nolan’s intellect getting in the way of emotions: "It's not a dry, science-based film. It has a pulse. It's got blood in its veins."

Nice, I didn't even realize he was in it. I'm still waiting for him to give his second great performance (The Assassination of Jesse James being his first).

Oh yeah, it's great. I fully consider his performance in that film to be one of the very best in cinematic history.

Also, one of my favorite Brad Pitt performances. Go ahead and laugh but I'm a huge Brad Pitt fan.
