Re: Broadchurch
It's a richly textured, deeply nuanced study of the way we deal with uncertainty, guilt, and loss as individuals and as communities.
You would probably say that it was okay, but that it really annoyed you the way they kept getting sidetracked by supporting characters and didn't get to solving the damn murder mystery already.

Re: Broadchurch
finally got around to watching season 2.
i guess i have two complaints:
1) they really undid the first season's satisfying finish.
2) broadchurch should not be a courtroom drama.
on the plus side, the cinematography and acting are still first rate.
as to the finale:

Re: Broadchurch
Just finished Season 2 myself and it was a disappointment.
The acting is still the best on all of television and most of the characters are just fantastic, but the new storylines just aren't all that compelling and the lingering sub-plots that will see this show through to Season 3 are just weak.
