Bovada is paying 7-1 if jon lester strikes out 10 or more tonight. He's faced KC thrice this year, striking out 8, 3, and 9 respectively. I split a 40 dollar bet with a friend.

I made a $60 deposit and Bovada matched half of it so I took that free $30 and put it on the Nats to win the World Series. That'll pay $165 if they do.

Used the last twenty and parlayed Oakland to win tonight and combined runs scored will be less than 6.5. If that hits it pays $53.34

I dont have any numbers in front of me, but I'm pretty sure Lester has owned KC his entire career.

9-3, 1.84 ERA in 13 starts. I think that qualifies as "owned".

Yup. 10 Ks is a lot to ask for but I really like the payout.

I think he has a one hit shutout against them, in addition to the no hitter.

Lester vs Shields tonight. Better digs in the Sox clubhouse next year on the line.

After just 5 outs, you can tell this game is going to be wild. No rooting interest and I love it.

It weirdly dawned on me that the 1981 (Dodgers), 1982 (Cardinals), 1983 (Orioles), 1984 (Tigers), and 1985 (Royals) World Champions are all in the playoffs this year. Not to mention 1979 (Pirates), 1988 (Dodgers), and 1989 (A's) as well.

I don't know why this seemed interesting to me. But it did.

Brought in a rookie starter in the 6th inning with 2 on and none out (and after a mere 88 pitches by Shields mind you) when he has 3 of the best relievers in baseball sitting in the bullpen. I'm sure you can guess how that worked out.
