I would hope that a David Fincher Star Wars would be like Fight Club in space. I'd be keen to see his take on it

I joke, Aliens is my favourite...but Alien 3 is right behind it...but a star wars with that kind of threat/darkness...would it work? would it even be allowed to be made?

I agree with that Alien ranking.dimejinky99 wrote:I joke, Aliens is my favourite...but Alien 3 is right behind it...but a star wars with that kind of threat/darkness...would it work? would it even be allowed to be made?
I think a heavy dose of threat and darkness is exactly what SW needs, especially after those prequels.
Although I do love Jar-Jar. He's probably my favorite part of the prequels, actually.

You know what, fuck it, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Event Horizon, AVP, and Soldier are better than anything Ridley Scott has ever made or ever will make.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
I want, no demand, an in depth explanation of why you think AVP is a better movie than Alien and Predator. I want a minimum of five paragraphs.
btw, Predator 2 is fucking awesome. Dirty Harry + an Alien. "In other words you're cutting off my dick and shoving it up my ass!" Great and violent 80s movie.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
I haven't seen the AVP movies or any of the Predator movies beyond the first one. But Alien is my favorite. Followed by Alien 3 in a super close second place.
