Breakfast (and strat's talk about Puffins)
What do you guys typically do for breakfast?
I hate to say I love you,
But oh goddamn I love you,
You know I do.
But oh goddamn I love you,
You know I do.

Re: Breakfast
Typically, I skip it. But when I don't, I like omelettes a lot

Re: Breakfast
Fruit, some kind of fiber bar thing that my wife packs, and water. Sometimes toast with it.
A few times a month I'll get a big greasy breakfast from the caf, but it usually makes me feel like a big bag of shit for a few hours.

Today I had a smoothie - been trying out either a fresh juice or a smoothie for breakfast, it surprisingly keeps me feeling full until lunch. My trusty go-to breakfast of oatmeal now gives me heartburn so I need more ideas than just eggs

Plain old Cheerios. Everyday of my life. Well not everyday but most days. I prefer pancakes or eggs or stuff like that at dinner time.

Yeah, I can't eat oats at all anymore. Granola, granola bars, steel cut, oat bran, instant. I've even tried soaking them in yogurt overnight, doesn't help... my body hates them.Self wrote:Oatmeal gives you heartburn? Re: Breakfast
During the work week, I always start the day with a protein smoothie, usually with a different combo of fruit, protein, coconut milk, & pysillium husk powder. Sometimes, I'll add some black strap molasses.
On the weekends, its usually some form of cooked eggs & toast. And, when I'm feeling really ambitious, I'll make some awesome pancakes from scratch for the family. I'll probably do that this weekend.

Re: Breakfast
I was never a big breakfast fan. Usually skip it. Sometimes I'll eat a bowl of cereal.
The only time I'll go out of my way to eat a big breakfast is when I'm abroad, staying in a nice hotel with access to a breakfast buffet. Guilty pleasure.

Re: Breakfast
I skip breakfast most of the time. But when I make myself breakfast at home it's usually a breakfast sandwich.
