The remastered albums are also available in HD audio (44.1kHz/24bit). Nice :nice:

I've managed to track down FLAC versions of just about all of the band's B-Sides & Rarities - I'm now going to put together a 2-disc compilation to share with y'all. There are just a few that I only have as mp3s - any chance any of you have copies of these you could rip?

Move Into The Villa Villakula / Stargirl EP: You Ain't It, Write Me Back Fucker, More Than A Feeling
You Ain't It 7" single: Surf Song
Get Up 7" Single: Turn It On (BBC session)
Burn To Shine Vol 3. DVD: Modern Girl
Songs For Cassvetes Soundtrack: Word And Guitar (Live at the El Rey 1997)

I figured you had it.

I've actually flirted with creating a bootleg mix similar to my Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins mixes. Would anyone have any interest in such a thing?

Here's the current tracklist for the live disc portion of the B-Sides & Rarities collection I'm putting together:

02 Words And Guitar (BBC Session 1998)
03 One More Hour (BBC Session 1998)
04 Banned From The End Of The World (Yoyo A Go-Go, Olympia, WA 1999-07-16)
05 The Ballad Of A Ladyman (Live on BBC 2000)
06 One Beat (Live at Henry Fonda Theatre 2003-02-08)
07 Faraway (Live at Henry Fonda Theatre 2003-02-08)
08 You're No Rock 'n' Roll Fun (The Metro, Chicago 2003-02-23)
09 Step Aside (Crobar NYC, 2004-04-28)
10 Fortunate Son (Crobar NYC, 2004-04-28)
11 The Fox (Portland 2004-10-21)
12 You're No Rock 'n' Roll Fun (Vancouver 2005-02-26)
13 Jumpers (Live on KEXP 2005-05-20)
14 Entertain (Live at XFM 2005-04-XX)
15 Wilderness (Live at XFM 2005-04-XX)
16 Modern Girl (Live Burn to Shine 2005-06-15)
17 The Fox (Lollapalooza 2006-08-04)
18 Entertain (Lollapalooza 2006-08-04)
19 Turn It On (Lollapalooza 2006-08-04)

Let me know if you need FLACs of any of these for your bootleg mix Matt, or if you see anything missing from this list.

I'm also looking for this show if anyone has it (no seeders :( )

No, I'm good - no need for FLACs. I'm wondering where you got FLACs of the Henry Fonda Theater 2003 show, unless you just took the mp3s and transcoded them.

I have the show you seek, and tons of others - I have maybe 50-60 S-K shows.

Oh, the Henry Fonda tracks are the only non-FLACs there - just the mp3s (released on the bands website I believe).

I ended up getting a seeder on the Seattle show so I'm all good

You don't happen to have any soundboard shows from the One Beat era do you?...

Actually, if you want to send me FLACs of almost all of that it would be nice - I've never been able to find most of those FM broadcast sessions and I forgot about all of the live B-Sides. I don't suppose you have the Triple J broadcast from January 2006, do you? I've also never been able to find that, and it really annoys me because they were on fire that tour.

I have four SBDs from the One Beat era. Here they are for everyone to download:

October 08, 2002 - Minneapolis, MN, USA
April 16, 2003 - Charlotte, NC, USA
August 07, 2003 - Emmabodafestivalen, Sweden
May 14, 2004 - Santa Cruz, CA, USA

All of this reminds me of the last time I saw Sleater-Kinney (well, the last time headlining). At the end they got Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks to join them on stage for "Fortunate Son". It was awesome.

I moved to Portland in 2005 and one of the reasons I moved was Sleater-Kinney. Little did I know that they would break up just a year later, and that I would miss their last two shows because I planned a trip back to Illinois. I was in Portland when they headlined Lollapalooza and in Chicago when they played their last two shows. :waah: :waah: :waah:

Aw man, talk about rotten timing :(

Thanks heaps for those uploads - thoroughly enjoying the Charlotte show opening for PJ :nice:

I'm got someone from discog (great friendly folk over there  ) providing me with the some needle drops of the last FLACs I'm missing, so will upload the complete set of B-Sides & Rarities for you and anyone else who wants them hopefully next week.

Patience friend, I'm still waiting on those last remaining tracks to show up in my inbox.

Btw, for any non-US citizens put off by the exorbitant shipping costs of the Start Together vinyl box set, you can get it on amazon.ca - mine was about AU$150 including shipping which is almost the same as the US price with free shipping :hooray:
