People get hurt while training unfortunately. The Bills lost Kiko Alonso in the offseason because of it. The other stuff though, yeah thats some shitty management

Someone suggested that at the very least, that they need to time the byes so that both teams going into a Thursday night game have the prior week off. This would give the teams a 10-day recovery window in both directions, which is much better. The same someone pointed out that this week, the Broncos and Cardinals (both coming off byes) will play each other with 14 days of rest, while the Packers and Vikings only had three.

Is it just me or have most NFL games been a shitty product this year?

Most of the prime time games have been for sure.

There have been a couple of entertaining ones: Colts-Broncos from Week 1 (and only the last quarter, really), Cards-Chargers Week 1, Bears-Niners Week 2, Eagles-Colts Week 2..and that's kind of it. So really only 1 PT game per week.

I don't know what happened in Detroit, but I can take a guess from these two tweets that came back to back in my feed...
EDIT: I also see that Jason Hanson is trending on Twitter. Sounds like a real brutal loss.

yea, missed field goals. but that Buffalo D is legit. Detroit had 198 yards total offense half way through the 4th.

This has been the dullest NFL season in memory.

It's freaking terrible football this year.

At least college footballs last weekend is saving things. The NFL might as well be mid season NBA at this point.

i've been losing a lot of interest in football lately. i'm getting to where i just hate seeing the injuries, and people's livelihoods and futures getting fucked up. and then the broadcasts have to super slo-mo all the gruesomeness. it's just not entertaining anymore.

also, the games are WAY too long. i don't need a commercial between every timeout or possession change. i don't want time stopping every 5 seconds.
