I still enjoy this show despite being told that I shouldn't. Looking forward to the new season.

Why?

One character lasted a season too long, for sure, but it's still great and both Patinkin and Daines are at the absolute top of their games right now.

It just seems like everyone says season one was great, but then it started sucking. I do think season one was the best, but I don't think it sucks now by any stretch of the imagination. I agree with everything you said above. Patinkin especially is my main draw to the show.

Looking forward to this. To be honest, Season 2 was not great, but Claire and Robin Wright are probably my two favorite people on TV right now. Glad to be done with Brody and I'm ready for a new storyline.

Anyone who thinks this show is not excellent has no taste. That was a fantastic start.

I thought it was good, the bath tub scene was legit frightening.

Yeah that was hard to watch.

Solid first two episodes.

This has been a solid start to the season. It seems like more of a slow burn this year. I thought it got to 24-like at times last year. I know some will translate that into "boring", but I'm enjoying the space that the characters have to breathe. Also, Claire seems to have dialed back her performance this year, which I also like. I do enjoy her crazy eyes, but it got too over-the-top last year.

Anyone still watching this?

This season's been excellent so far. I agree with t2b, the slow burn approach is a nice departure from the manic 24-esque format the show used to employ. Actually, I think this season's been the second best of the series so far - it'd be pretty hard to top the first season.

This has been the best season since 1. Moving on from the Brody story has helped it immensely. I feel like this season has emulated the good aspects of 24, while leaving behind some of the bad.

Yeah, nothing happened and they really didn't set anything up for next year, either.

I thought the toast at the end was a nice touch, kind of gathering all of the main players together.

I think Saul as the potential head of the CIA and the missing Quin were pretty good cliffhangers in regards to how Danes reacted to those...

I'd give this season a solid B+

This season was excellent, best since the first. The finale was just anti-climactic.

Enjoying this series for the most part. I'm about half way done with Season 4 now and hope to finish it up in the next week or two.
Spoiler: show
I was glad to see the Brody story come to an end, like him, I just wanted it to be over. Although, once they got to Iran and stopped showing his family, I really started to enjoy things more. Season 4 has been great so far, poor Aayan.

I'm also liking Lockheart now. He as a complete ass, still is, but now he's kinda funny. I can't binge watch this show though because I can only take Carrie in small doses; she's a bit over the top for me, and I can only handle one or two episodes at a time.
