Re: List Your Top 10 Favorite Horror Movies
Saw series.
Hostel series.
The Ring.
Psycho.
Scream (1st one).
That's all that stand out to me at the moment, as far as ones that I enjoyed or was frightened by. My wife is a huge horror fan and will watch every B horror movie she can get her hands on, in hopes that one of two of them turn out to be great. I've had to sit through my fair share of these and have grown to despise the genre for the most part. Especially the horror/comedy movies.
A few years back I played one of the Resident Evil games through on Wii, mostly at night in the dark, and that scared me as much as any movie ever has honestly.

Of course! That movie has a great style/atmosphere. I love the way all the blood looks in it.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Does 30 Days of Night count?

Re: List Your Top 10 Favorite Horror Movies
I don't really do horror movies, but two films that terrified me when I was a kid:
The Witches
Ernest Scared Stupid
I may watch The Witches again right now, in fact.

It's a pretty bad movie, but that clown from "It" terrified me as a kid.

Re: List Your Top 10 Favorite Horror Movies
01 Exorcist
02 Poltergeist
03 Shining
04 Sixth Sense
05 Conjuring
06 Monster Squad
07 Army Of Darkness
08 Ghostbusters
09 House
10 Beetlejuice
I tend to go for ghost stories over slashers, torture porn and gross stuff. Half of these are more fun than scary but that's my kind of spooky movies. I really love the Universal Monsters but rather than list all those I just went with The Monster Squad.

It was in the horror section of the local Video Shack in the 80's so yes. Shark is dated but it was scary back then.
