Re: All-Time Franchise Baseball Tournament: DAY THREE RESULT
Originally I thought the Cardinals would post the best regular season record. Three series in though, I'm thinking it'll be the Yankees. I still think the Cards can turn it around. I'm not gonna say what it is, but I think Kaius is making a huge managerial blunder. But the real life Cardinals are in the NLCS, so fuck him.

The postseason is gonna be crazy though. I'm starting to think there are more teams capable of winning the championship than I initially thought. It's gonna be a matter of making it though.

I'm like Theo, an architect of two losing teams at the same time.

The Red Sox are at .500, so you're really only the architect of one losing team.

We were remarkably in sync with what we wanted minus a couple bench guys.

Well, we've still got 80% of the regular season left.
Or 90%, if we buckle to Skitch's pressure and make it a 60 game season.

You could've picked the Giants and just annihilated people with that lineup.

A Giants team done right would've probably been the favorite in my eyes to finish in first.

Re: All-Time Franchise Baseball Tournament: DAY THREE RESULT
I think the Yankees and Cardinals are the only two teams who I've said I thought were straight up the best at any point. I know I said I thought a lot of teams had a good chance to win. I still think that though. The Reds are the team I think I most underestimated. So far the Pirates may be the one I most overestimated. But it's still super early.

Ernie Banks hits a 3 run HR in the 1st inning and then proceeds to get plunked 2 of his next 3 times up? I'll remember that Red Sox.

It's probably somehow Theo's fault.

I support Skitch's idea of extending this tourney to 60 games.
