Re: MLB
Read today Yogi Berra has played in 11.8% (75 of 634) World Series games all time. This is mind-boggling to me.

Re: MLB
I forgot which one is the first baseman; do you think TBS will tell me soon with a graphic?

Re: MLB
Britton walks three straight to load the bases in the ninth with the game tied. I was really surprised to see Hosmer come in and swing his heart out on a 1-0 count. If he had squared to bunt and pulled it back like Dyson and Cain, he probably would have had more success. Yikes.

Re: MLB
The Royals are lucky to still be in this game. Their five runs were well earned, but...it has been sloppy. That said, I would not be surprised to see them win this one. In extra innings, all they need is one run. Ninth inning notwithstanding, we know they can do that. And their closer hasn't come in yet, so they definitely have a good chance.

Re: MLB
and there it is. For all the talk about this being the team with the fewest homers and the most steals, there are elements of this line-up with some definite pop potential.

Fuck yes Gordon! Come a long way since he was the kid one of my best friends was helping cheat in math in 9th grade.
Gordo is on the bottom with the backwards cap. He got ejected middle of the game for arguing a BS call. Joba Chamberlain is standing on the right with his hand in the air. We dominated a Ryan Bruan/Jon Jay led Miami that weekend to make our 3rd CWS in 5 years. Good times.
