Ok, Lee has been dropped and I have you going with the same lineup vs. both LHPs and RHPs. Is that right?

Twelves games in and the Mariners and Expos are the only two teams I would be surprised to see in the playoffs. I would've thought the Blue Jays and Astros would be in that group too, but their recent performances are making me think they can both make runs into the top eight.

Then again, I probably can't even count out the Expos. chud could brew up magic. Or more accurately, "Peut-être Chud aura de la magie."

If I cared more I'd adjust the Expos lineup and try to turn their season around.

The Expos had a huge uphill battle facing them from day one in this league.

Instructions for converting your 30 game scoresheet into a 60 game scoresheet:

Copy and paste everything, including the totals section, directly below the 30th game section.

The newly pasted Totals section (which should be next to the section you'll use for the 31st game) will have adjusted formulas for the cells in the newly pasted game sections. So in the new Totals section, go to the formula for the first position players ABs, and copy everything after the equals sign. No go to the old Totals section and find the cell for that same players ABs, and edit that formula. Keep what's already there, add a plus sign to the end of it, and paste what you copied out of the new section. Now it'll be adding the ABs from all 60 games. Click the bottom right corner of the cell and drag it into the cells below and and the cells next to it, so it'll automatically add the new games to all the other formulas. You'll have to stop dragging when you hit the AVG column, because it doesn't add everything the way the others do.

For the columns between AVG and OBP, just go to the AB cell and copy what's there, and paste it into the 2B cell. It'll adjust the formula to add from the 2B column instead of AB. Then do the drag trick to apply the change to all the other cells on that side of AVG.

Then you'll have to change the titles of each post game 30 game (because it'll call them 1-30 again). And for games 31-42 it'll have the data copied from the first 12 games, which obviously you don't want. So just delete games 31-42 and copy paste any other set of 12 blank game sections into its place.

Man, the push is really on in full-force for the 60 game season, isn't it?

We should really do it. 30 games isn't going to be a big enough sample.

I hope those instructions make sense. It seems a lot more complicated than it is.

Papelbon is leading in saves but the rest of his stats are super inflated. He's let up 3 runs and they all came from his first appearance.

60 is great in theory. I'm stll waiting to see if I can get into a groove where it starts taking me less time than it's taking right now to run all of these games. The first few days were a total slog. Doing them at night is helping a bit.

When people change their lineup, they should go on to whatif themselves and run a simulation under their new lineup. Then it'll be in place for you.

A lot of them do, but when people have different lineups for LHPs and RHPs I still have to go in and change them.

As long as I don't find a second job, it should be fine. If I do take on something seasonal though, I may need some help.

I'm definitely leaning towards doing 60 if everybody else is. I hope the interest level stays up through the end though if we do, though.

I suppose if we do 60 we'll just repeat the schedule a second time.

I am keeping stats for the Cubs, just haven't had a chance to post them yet.

On a different note, the sweep of the Cardinals more than makes up for the 1-3 showing vs. the Canadian teams.
