Seriously. Facing Feller, Perry, and Gregg in games 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, & 7 of a series is going to be a nightmare.

Re: All-Time Franchise Baseball Tournament: DAY SEVEN RESULT
Speaking of the postseason...if we really do extend the regular season to 60 games, I think only four teams should make the playoffs. 60 games just to eliminate only 1/2 of the teams doesn't seem right.
I'd be ok with doing something like having the top three teams make it, and then having the 4th through 7th place teams have a Final Four style play-in for the last spot.
I'm probably alone on all of this though.

I think 6 get in, with a 3 game wild card series.

There is no way Monge is this bad, but Jackson has been decent. Also, suck my dick.@SkitchP wrote:Shit, look at that rotation. 3 starters under a 3era,and 8 innings a start out of Perry?
It doesn't even matter that his bullpen is shit.

I'm in favor of a 60 game season with an 8 team playoff tournament.

I feel like after sixty games we should able to eliminate more than jut half of the teams. Also, I like there being an incentive for finishing in the top two spots besides just home field advantage.cutuphalfdead wrote:I'm in favor of a 60 game season with an 8 team playoff tournament.

Yeah. To be honest I agree with you and like skitch's idea a lot. It's just that I'm currently in 8th place.Lament wrote:I feel like after sixty games we should able to eliminate more than jut half of the teams. Re: All-Time Franchise Baseball Tournament: DAY SEVEN RESULT
Part of me really wants to start Jim Scott because of how bad Red Faber has been, but I'm worried because when I added Jim Scott to my roster whatif had his role for that season as being a relief pitcher. I was surprised to even see him listed as a starting option. That being said, he did start tons of games in his career (and even in that season).
I'm starting to wonder if I should have dropped one of my bench warmers for Wilbur Wood, Billy Pierce, or Chris Sale.

Something tells me you guys might move up a spot or two over the course of another 46 games. I mean, the Royals can't keep winning forever, can they?cutuphalfdead wrote:Yeah. To be honest I agree with you and like skitch's idea a lot. It's just that I'm currently in 8th place.

Teams without full stats spreadsheets are ineligible for the playoffs.

i figured that even if i'd gotten my shit together and fielded a brewers team, they wouldn't be able to hang with some of the older franchises, but looking at the current standings...
