I'm just waiting to see who dares to attempt to figure out each player's WAR first.

I toyed with creating an sWAR type stat.

So did I. I just added defensive stats to my spreadsheet (they have the standard PO, A and E, but they also have + and - for good and bad defensive plays, so we could make a basic defensive number), so now we have at least basic hitting, baserunning and defensive info. It would be pretty easy to make a WAR type number from there as long we use all the player stats we have available from each team to establish some "average" numbers.

This is going way beyond your standard stats/baseball nerds. I'm a little concerned.
