The "Favorite Performance" Game

Post by LoathedVermin72 »

Rules are simple: I will name an actor, and the person who responds has to state what their favorite performance from that actor is, and why. Then they will name another actor, and the person who responds will do the same and then name another actor. And so on and so forth.

This thread is weird. Virtually no one is talking about why the named actor's performances is their best. Are you sure you guys understand what's going on in here?

Yeah RG's post, and possibly Self's, were the only one's that were really within the correct terms of the thread.

It's a great thread idea too loathedvermin.

DiCaprio: The Departed.

Leo's never been that convincingly wound up and near implosion. Most of his other roles I think, "ah there's Leonardo DiCaprio, acting his little heart out" - he sinks into Costigan wonderfully.

Alan Rickman.

Vermin's got a good idea every once in a while. I just hate to see his vision go unfulfilled, is all. I've wanted to answer a couple of these. But by the time I've gotten around to it, someone beat me to it.

Leonardo DiCaprio
The Wolf of Wall Street. I'm not normally a big fan of DiCaprio, but his thoroughly convincing display of a sex and drug crazed playboy helped me enjoy this movie so much more. His work in the the Quaalude scene is gold.

Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The Big Lebowski. He handled the nuances of constantly walking on eggshells trying to keep his charges from falling apart just perfectly.

Denzel Washington

How is this a game? There is no score, no points, no goal, no winner.
