Just to up the nerd quotient in this thread, I already have OFF, DEF and BsR columns in my spreadsheet. BsR is pretty easy. DEF is complicated, but I'm sure we can work something out. OFF is complicated too because I'm not sure what to do about weights, but I actually have a basic wOBA already. We'll have to share our spreadsheets at some poitn to come up with league totals and go from there.

Honestly, it's a pretty easy stat to add. You'll be adding numbers for a few players per game.

I had to look that up. I completely forgot the Jays won it 1992 too. They were an excellent team most of the 80s. I went to a few Yanks-Jays games back then and they always dominated. Pretty sick lineup they had.

That's why I said "over the last 20 years or so." I'm 30 years old. I vaguely remember some over the '92 series and my first real baseball memories are from '93. I love the history of the team and the game and everything, but referencing what the team did in the 80's is no different than telling a Cubs fan "Hey, at least you guys won back-to-back championships in '07-'08!" It really means nothing to me because I was to young to have any memory of it.

I was nine years old when Joe Carter hit that home run, and I haven't seen a single Jays playoff game since. It sure started on a high note, but there's been a whole lot of disappointment ever since.
