My Tigers are on a 4 game loser I think.

I'm not gonna lie, this tournament is affecting my personal rankings of who my favorite White Sox players from before my time are.

That's who I've got for you. Are you sticking with the five-man or are you dropping someone now that Parisian Bob is aboard?

I looked this up on wikipedia. He got hit in the face with a fastball a la Tony C. Sad.

I'm going to cut Tudor from the rotation for now.

The year I picked for him(83?) he was pretty good, so yeah that sucks.

Dickie Thon Jr. is a prospect in the Jays system.

I'm still running with a five-man rotation because no one has done anywhere remotely close to enough to earn that spot, but I think I'm going to go with Halladay and Clemens in the 1-2 spots and rotate everyone else through the next two spots. Juan Guzman has been dominating out of the bullpen so I would like to give him a couple starts, but it doesn't give me the option because I have too many other starters.

So starting tomorrow, it'll go:
Stieb
Hentgen
Halladay
Clemens
Then I may plug in Wells or Key once in a while if Stieb and Hentgen continue to be as terrible as they have been.

I've really been surprised at Gibson's troubles.

Thon hasn't been awful, he's had a few good games. He was basically the only option at SS, it's remarkable how bad the Astros have been at that position.

Thon had a pretty amazing 1983. The Jays problem at the position is that Tony Fernandez was very good every year in the second half of the '80s, but he never had that one big seasons like Thon had.

I'll update the Red Sox and Expos stats tomorrow. I'm working at 4am and it'll give me something to do while sitting in the control room.

Very few pitchers are doing great. These lineups are pretty stacked. The way I look at it, an ERA under 4.00 is quality at this point.
