Wait till they do something similar in Chicago. It may end up being the greatest Pit meltdown of all time.

Nice to know your view kurt. The setlist actually seems pretty good with comatose, rvm, isignificance, go, Baba...seems like a killer show to me.
I just hope they dont play miracles and last kiss next.

exactly. they wont bring that setlist to boston. ole was a free download so of course they would play that. pj is being polite to festival goers by giving them the music they know. it makes sense.

and by not doing the webcast they made it special for the people that did go. again i think that shows an appreciation for the fans.

the only way i would lose faith in this band, is if they posted on this message board.

Yeah I'm sure everyone leaving the show last night was saying "man, that was great, and I'm really glad it wasn't on the Internet".

Yes, this is one of the funnier (read: dumbest) things I've read in this thread.

To be clear, I agree that not authorizing the webcast was extremely lame of them. But I think the setlist is fine and exactly what one should expect from this kind of gig.

To be honest, I don't really care about the setlist. I didn't expect anything different. I'm just noting that this band doesn't really do much to get me excited anymore.

When have they ever played stuff like Parting Ways or Around The Bend at festivals? Why is their such outrage?

God, couldn't you guys just enjoy for what it was? It was a festival concert. And had many surprises and some new stuff, a lot of jams.
I guess if you didn't listen to it, you will never know for sure... It was fucking fantastic.

It sure was, I'm impressed that there were no The Fixer, no Just breathe and no Last Kiss. It made the show better.

Looks fine to me. I'm looking forward to hearing how they sound after being in the studio. I imagine they are energized right now.

Edit: just read your write up Kurt. Thanks for taking the time. Glad you had a great show. First Nothingman is really special. How was Ed's voice on that one?
AS far as I recall, Ed sounded pretty good, but it was hard to listen to him, since the crowd was so loud.

The crowd is LOUD, but from what I can hear, I love the guitar tone in Even Flow!

Thanks for posting the videos.
