I have a friend who is a bigger fan, but he's one of those people who grew up to say things like, "today's music sucks," and to honestly think that his generation's music was both special and the end of the road. Ironically, his dad was a huge CSN fan when we growing up and said the same stuff to him.

I dont really talk to him much anymore. I wonder if he likes CSN.

He sounds like you, to be honest.

their biggest fan would need to like every song

including everything on Backspacer,
and everything on No Code,
at the same time

that's like eating an Arch Deluxe in a parked car,
and sipping Green tea in the Himalayan countryside,
at the time time

not
physically
possible

or is it?............

the answer might surprise you

I love both those albums - possibly one more than the other, but they're both great

This is true. Here we see a NZer taking a dump in front of Prince William

Me too.
Does "real life" include people you met at shows but then continued to know in person and hang out with? Probably not, I guess. If we're talking people we met outside of any Pearl Jam context, then I too am the biggest fan I know in real life. In fact, I I'm only aware of two other people I know in real life who would count as fans at all, and one of them is my husband.
