We really need another reason to keep this thread at the top of RM for a very long time.
I was actually wondering if we should have an All-Star break and do this.

oh man. This would be great.
We could do East vs. West.

West - Chicago, Chicago, Cincinnati, Houston, St. Louis, Texas, Kansas City, Seattle
East - Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, Montreal, New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto

We're not even halfway through the season and it's already getting testy in here. Imagine what the last ten games are gonna be like, especially if there's still a logjam around that sixth spot.

That day will suck. Just like the all star break.

It's the next logical step in making this more real

And, just think, the winner of the All Star gets home field advantage in the World Series, just like in real life!

Thanks, Selig. 8-)

Ernie Whitt can be the bullpen catcher.

I'm ok with that as long as he never has to pick up a bat.

I think you guys should just select someone to be the captain (so to speak) of each All-Star squad, and he'll be in charge of the roster with whatever the rest of the guys in his set of teams want to give him in terms of input/stats.
