Note 2: Twin Peaks is that low only because it was two seasons and cancelled without a resolution. It will likely move up to the #2 or #3 spot if the coming third season is any good at all.

I rewatched the Twin Peaks pilot last night. That has got to be the best pilot I've ever seen. What a fucking knockout punch. Even 24 years later. Still holds up.
