Let's be real here. In the second half of the 90s Bush was making the records that stip was upset Pearl Jam wasn't making.

Their first two albums are still guilty pleasures.Lament wrote:Let's be real here. In the second half of the 90s Bush was making the records that stip was upset Pearl Jam wasn't making.

NAIS is plodding at times, but it's better than Yellow Moon.stip wrote:that was months ago.
I'm not sure I believe that about Yellow Moon/NAIS anymore, though.

Re: The most stip posts of all time.
True story: Bush's "Razorblade Suitcase" album is the only CD I have ever returned to a record shop. I so disappointed and disgusted in that pile of repetitive, soulless, uninspired tripe.
I liked Golden State though, that was about the point I forgave them for that humongous misstep.

I think Razorblade Suitcase is easily Bush's best album

It's the only one that disguised their amateurish songwriting and emotionless yelping enough to be listenable for three minutes.
Mostly it was a collection of interesting sounds halfway covered up by a shitty band.

I hope that's the description on the bright pink sticker on the cover of any freshly produced copies of the cd.McParadigm wrote:It's the only one that disguised their amateurish songwriting and emotionless yelping enough to be listenable for three minutes.

No. I had to dim the lights and listen to Glycerine, alone, instead...
