That run of No Code songs would be enough to make me buy the boot

Except for the botched "Imagine", this felt like an entirely different band from the Detroit show. Everything worked even if it looks uneven on paper. And at the risk of being trashed, I gotta say MYM was really good. Possibly the best version of that song I have heard live.

Sounds like the band were in good spirits tonight. If they never do this full album thing again, I'm so glad they chose to do it with No Code :hooray:

lololololololololol.....

Wow.... that was fun! I've been to this place before but never on the floor. It felt like being in a high school gymnasium down there. The band were clearly charmed with our dinky little arena and probably thought it was hilarious they were in Moline, Illinois...

Infallible was the only song that didn't work tonight.... if I'm nit picking, Ed flubbing Imagine when he had the place singing along was a let down...

And Sirens was supposed to get played but got axed! Hilarious.........

Easily beats Alpine 03 as the best Pearl Jam show I've ever been to...

Wow, Pearl Jam played all of No Code, in sequence, in one show?? WTF. This is awesome. I've been following most of the shows lately on livefootsteps.org and here, but I missed this one. To check here after the show and see that they played all of No Code beginning to end, mind blown.

Wow, bridge school is going to suck now :) That's an exciting set there. Hope it translated well. Sounds like it did

So awesome. Coolest setlist I've seen in a long time. If this is the start of an era where they'll occasionally put out a random album from start to finish, they'll completely reinvigorate the fanbase.
I might be able to get to an E-bow.

So that was fun. After the run of No Code, it pretty much felt like they were just pulling songs out of a hat.

The In Hiding in the encore was pretty stellar as well.

By the way, Ed said that there was absolutely no significance to them playing the entire No Code start to finish in order. He mentioned the only other time that they've done that with an album was in 1991.

After Hail Hail, I actually thought to myself how cool it would be for them to go on a run of a bunch of No Code songs, hoping to hear In My Tree and Red Mosquito. Little did I know.

Didn't they play Avocado in sequence at one of the Italy 2006 shows?

It must have been crazy watching it unfold. Glad you guys enjoyed it. How was the flow of the show? And the performances.

I knew Ed was wrong when he said that, but I was actually thinking of a warm up show for No Code at the Showbox. I just checked and they played like 90% of it in order, but left off I'm Open and Around the Bend.

I was surprised at how good certain songs sounded tonight. Someone mentioned In Hiding and I agree.... seemed a lot better than the last time I heard that one live. The Ten songs seemed to come off especially well too...

This post totally relates to a post I just made in the "Pearl Jam today vs. the past" thread over at the Pearl Jam forum.
